Privacy Policy

Automic Consulting respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Automic Consulting (ABN 99 796 828 579) helps Australian businesses find and implement the right process automation for their operations. Our website is https://automic.online.

What personal information we collect

We collect the minimum necessary to deliver our services and respond to inquiries:

  • Name, email address, and phone number — when you contact us, book a call, complete the Automation Readiness Assessment, or Fit Checks for Offers
  • Business name, industry, role, and team size — as part of the assessment or consultation process
  • Assessment responses — your answers to the Automation Readiness Assessment questions
  • Communication preferences — whether you are requesting a report, a follow-up call, or both

We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or sensitive data through this website.

How we collect your information

You provide information directly when you complete the Automation Readiness Assessment, submit a contact form, or book a consultation call.

How we use your information

We use your information only for delivering the service you requested, improving our assessment and services through aggregate analysis, and maintaining accurate client and prospect records. We do not sell your personal information, use your data for unrelated marketing campaigns, or share your assessment answers outside our CRM and hosting infrastructure.

Who we share your information with

We use a small number of trusted third-party services:

  • HubSpot — CRM and email communication platform
  • VentraIP — Website hosting
  • Stripe — Payment processing (only if you become a client)

Each provider is contractually obligated to handle your data in compliance with Australian privacy law.

Data storage and security

Your information is stored securely on HubSpot’s infrastructure and on our VentraIP-hosted server in Australia, with industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and restricted internal access.

How long we keep your data

We retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide the service you requested, maintain accurate business records (up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance), and respond to follow-up inquiries. You may request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to access your personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and withdraw consent. Contact us at privacy@automic.online. We will respond within 30 days.

Ride Share Mission Control — Uber API Data

Ride Share Mission Control is a private operational cockpit for Automic Consulting’s owner-driver ride share operations. It uses the Uber Driver API to access data from the account owner’s Uber driver profile.

What data we access via Uber

With the account owner’s authorisation, the application accesses:

  • Trip data — fare, distance, duration, city, and timestamp for each completed trip
  • Earnings data — gross earnings, fees, tips, tolls, and other adjustments
  • Payment history — payout records and settlement details
  • Profile information — account status and basic driver profile fields

How we use it

Uber data is used exclusively for:

  • Personal shift logging and closeout
  • Profit-per-hour, profit-per-kilometre, and take-home analytics
  • Historical earnings tracking and comparison
  • Tax record preparation

Data storage and retention

Uber data accessed through the API is stored locally on the owner’s private computer in a local SQLite database and optionally in private project files in the owner’s Obsidian vault and Google Drive. No Uber data is stored on any server, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose beyond the owner’s personal business analysis.

Uber OAuth tokens are stored in the local operating system keychain and a private configuration file on the owner’s computer. Access tokens are never exposed to any network service.

Data sharing

Uber data is not shared with any third party. The application has no analytics, no telemetry, and no external API calls beyond those made to the Uber Driver API on the owner’s behalf.

Third-party services

The Uber Driver API is provided by Uber Technologies, Inc. Data transferred to Uber is subject to Uber’s own privacy policy and terms of service. No other third party receives ride share data through this application.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the changes here and update the Last updated date.
